Greetings Everyone, I know that several of you have asked me to post some of my work. This model was built in the late 90's. While it is not an exact replica. It is based on real machines and my 30 plus years operating heavy equipment. And is what I would have built 20 or 30 years ago. This project took about two months, and was labor intensive. The tracks are all handmade. The rest is out of plastruct, evergreen aluminum tubing and bit from the parts box! This was built while I was on the midnight shift. On my nights off I would maintain the same schedule and spend all night at the hobby bench! While the model was never 100% complete and has now gone to the scrapper to be salvaged. I think the pictures while not of the best quality show what I did or tried to do. Thanks for looking, comments welcome! Gator Compared to the KFS kit The excavator and company mechanics truck in the Gator construction livery!

Good looking piece of machinery, Gator. If you hadn't told it was freelanced, nobody would have guessed. I like the detailing on the business end of the boom, it looks very realistic. Thanks for sharing! Dan
